Background information
Perched in a secluded setting at 1,130 metres above sea level, the family-run Schlossanger Alp combines Alpine tranquillity with elegant design and warm hospitality. With 20 individually designed rooms, 15 suites and a treehouse on the edge of the forest, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat where privacy, comfort and relaxation come together in perfect harmony. The personal touch of the owning family is reflected throughout the property. Barbara and her daughter Beatrice have created an interior design concept that blends natural materials, warm colours and carefully considered details, resulting in an atmosphere that is authentic, refined and inviting. In the kitchen Bastian Ebert reinterprets the culinary traditions of the Allgäu region with a contemporary approach, focusing on seasonal, regional ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship. The wine cellar, featuring around 600 carefully curated labels, reflects the shared passion of Bernd and Beatrice Ebert. Opened in 2025, the ALP SPA sets new standards in Alpine wellness with an infinity pool overlooking the mountains, three spacious saunas, a steam bath, a natural swimming lake and the ALPPRAXIS wellness area. From mid-August, the hotel’s offering will be expanded with six new Anger Suites, designed for both couples and families and seamlessly integrated into the surrounding landscape.
