Background information
As soon as you approach the four-star superior hotel, the spectacular exterior facade catches your eye. Its infinity design is reminiscent of Asian fabrics, but picks up on the bent and woolgrass of the Vals high moor as a pattern. The harmonious combination of South Tyrol and Southeast Asia can be found in all areas of the hotel. In the 48 studios and suites, regional materials such as Swiss stone pine and smoked oak meet drawings of Asian plants and delicate lamps. Among the highlights are the suites of the category Deep Recreation, which feature their own Finnish sauna, meditation area and a spacious balcony with a Zen Garden and an open-air bathtub inspired by the traditional Japanese Ofuro. In culinary terms, the team focuses on ingredients from local producers and their own field, as well as Asian flavors and preparation methods. The 2,000-square-meter soulful spa invites guests to relax on two interconnected levels with onsen, indoor and infinity pools, several saunas, relaxation rooms and selected treatments, for example in the Private Spa Suite. A large library, a creative space, and a large bar with tea area complete the facilities.
