Background information
The Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort - the hotel group's first hotel in Spain, picturesquely located on the Costa Adeje overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and has direct access to the 12-kilometre-long promenade. Less than 15 minutes from Tenerife South International Airport, the five-star resort offers 284 elegant rooms and 20 luxurious suites. Suite guests enjoy an à la carte breakfast in the morning and a range of VIP delicacies throughout the day in the La Caleta Lounge by the pool. The interior is characterised by earthy colours, natural materials and locally handcrafted artworks. Award-winning architect Melvin Villarroel, who is in charge of the resort's design knows how to harmonise nature and architecture. The subtropical vegetation of the 18,000 square metres hotel garden matches the island's typical terracotta tones. Three new heated pools, including a saltwater and an adults-only pool complete the resort. Another highlight is the culinary diversity of the luxury resort. The gastronomic concept was developed by the renowned Portuguese chef and entrepreneur Olivier da Costa, who worked multiple times with Minor Hotels. He is currently responsible for 26 restaurants worldwide - from São Paulo to Lisbon to Rome and Bangkok.
